Q. How much does it cost to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy?
A. Bankruptcy Attorney’s fees (Call to inquire about our low flat fees)
1. Single – $1,506.00 (including the filing fee)
2. Married—$1,606.00 (including filing fee)
3. Married/Single –Self-employed / Business debt $1,706.00 and up (including filing fee)
B. Additional Cost: Credit Counseling (Required)
1. Pre-filing -$30.00 per debtor
2. Post-filing-$8.00-$25.00 per debtor
Q. Why should I set up a consultation? How do I set up the consultation?
A. During the consultation we discuss other your options and whether bankruptcy is right for you based on your unique situation. You may set up an in person or telephone consultation. Q. Are payment plans available?
A. Yes, we will provide you with as much time as necessary to pay off the balance. However, the rates above are based on full payment within thirty (30) days. Payment plans on the fees extending longer than that period will be discussed during your initial consultation.
Q. What is included in the consultation?
A. We evaluate your assets/income/debts/ tax issues/ monthly budget during a sixty (60) minute confidential consultation. If you decide to the file the nominal consult fee goes toward our cost for pulling an extensive three (3) source all in one credit report.
